At least 10 fans to win trips to Old Trafford at United Malaysia annual dinner

KOTA KINABALU: At least 10 Manchester United supporters will stand a chance to win all-expenses-paid trips to Old Trafford during the 8th United Malaysia Annual Dinner on June 27.

United Malaysia president, Batholomew Jingulam said more than 1,000 people had confirmed their attendance for the event, prompting organisers to add more tables to accommodate demand.

However, he said the additional seats would be limited due to venue capacity constraints.

“We have more than 1,000 people attending to date but have decided to add more tables to accommodate more requests for seats for the dinner.

“However, those seats are limited and once they are snapped up, no more will be allotted as the venue will not be able to accommodate it,” he said in a statement on Sunday.

Jingulam said attendees would be eligible for the lucky raffle draw, which includes at least 10 trips to Manchester United’s home ground.

The annual dinner, themed “United Unite!!! The Next Chapter”, will be held at the Hakka Hall here.

Jingulam said the gathering remained the largest annual event organised by the country’s official Manchester United supporters’ club.

He added that interest in this year’s dinner had been strong, particularly with the event returning to Kota Kinabalu after being held in Kuching and Kuala Lumpur in 2024 and 2025 respectively.

“As usual, the dinner in KK is eagerly awaited by members and supporters of the Red Devils in Malaysia.

“In previous dinners in KK, we had over 1,000 attendees, so we expect no less this year as we open the next chapter of our journey as a fan community,” he said.

Besides the lucky draw, the programme will feature Manchester United-themed activities and exclusive merchandise.

Those interested in attending may contact Darrell Ho at 0168311062 for ticket information.

United Malaysia is the country’s official Manchester United FC supporters’ club, bringing together supporters nationwide through fan activities and community programmes.
