KOTA KINABALU: United Malaysia, the country’s official Manchester United supporters’ club, has appointed its new committee for the 2026-2028 term following its Biennial General Meeting (BGM) on Saturday (June 27).
Batholomew Jingulam was returned unopposed as president for a sixth consecutive term, while Bryan Faurillo retained the deputy president’s post.
Members elected to the committee are Adrian Sibangun, Anita Dingkawan, Dora Limus, Daniel Roman, Durie Rainer Fong, Darrell Ho, Daniel Liew, Pauline Lee and Normiate Mapiasa.
Lindsay Michael was reappointed secretary, with Michelle Faurillo as assistant secretary, while Fynn Floyd Wong was named treasurer and Jillianne Flair Bonnie assistant treasurer.
Jingulam also appointed Simon Peter, Tony Henry Lojungin and Fazrilan Rusulan as special officers.
The meeting drew members from across the country, including Kuala Lumpur.
In her report, Michael said the outgoing committee had carried out several key activities despite having a shorter term after taking office following an Emergency General Meeting last year.
Among its initiatives was the United Malaysia Football Clinic, aimed at promoting youth development through football.
Jingulam thanked the outgoing committee for its service and called on the new committee to continue working for the benefit of the club and its members.
“I thank the previous team for their commitment. To the new committee, let’s continue the good work for the betterment of the club and all our members.
“United is stronger when we work together,” he said.
