KOTA KINABALU: The United Malaysia Annual Dinner will return to Kota Kinabalu this year, bringing together Manchester United supporters from across the country.
The eighth edition of the gathering, organised by the country’s official Manchester United supporters’ club, will be held on June 27 at the Hakka Hall here.

United Malaysia president Batholomew Jingulam said the dinner has traditionally drawn strong support from fans in Sabah.
“As usual, the dinner in KK is eagerly awaited by members and supporters of the Red Devils in Malaysia,” he said.
He noted that previous dinners in the city attracted more than 1,000 attendees.
“We are expecting no less this year as we open the next chapter of our journey as a fan community,” he added.
The annual dinner was previously held in Kuching in 2024 and Kuala Lumpur in 2025.

Organising chairman Bryan Faurillo said Kota Kinabalu holds significance for the group as it hosted the first United Malaysia dinner in 2016.
“KK will always hold a special place in the hearts of Malaysia’s Manchester United fans as it was here where the first United Malaysia dinner was held,” he said.
Bryan said tickets for the event will be announced soon.
He added that a lucky draw offering all-expenses-paid trips to watch Manchester United play at Old Trafford will be held during the dinner.
Further details on ticket sales and the programme will be released on United Malaysia’s social media platforms.
